Lone has long been fascinated with the abstraction of things. She conjures up cellular, organic compositions and expresses them
using vivid, confident brushstrokes. These works meld her effusive nature, Danish heritage and respect for the surrounding world.
She is a magnificent colourist, reflected here in the swirling and flowing forms of an abstracted work. These are large pieces,
triptychs in the 4′ × 8′ range, that enfold your vision as you move from periphery to centre. You may find yourself mesmerized
as the paint quality transforms from thin to thick. There are jewel bright elements of colour laid out in a Klimt like mosaic.
